Let me introduce myself. My name is Andrea Byrne. I am the owner of Transcendence Wellness Center. However, I do consider TWC a family business. My family is very important to me, and we are a very close-knit team. What is mine is theirs and so on.

Out of high school I went straight into art school. I worked and created for years. While I was creating art, I was also working at the People's Food Co-op in La Crosse, WI. I learned how to cook and bake. Later on, I did a bit of traveling and lived in many places. I always came back to this area and am 4-time alumni of the People's Food Co-op. I also spent many years cooking and baking at other locations around the area and in the Twin Cities. I helped open delis for Whole Foods Market in Minnetonka and Downtown Minneapolis. I also worked in the deli at the Seward Co-op on Franklin Ave. In Minneapolis.

Eventually, I left the culinary world and moved into caretaking. I worked for over a decade with Dementia Residents. I helped in every aspect of daily living and became a friend, a listener, a helper, a dance instructor, a song leader, a games partner, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, and any other being that my Residents or their families needed me to be. To me that was everything. I truly loved and appreciated my time caring for that population. This time woke in me the need to not only find healing and wellbeing for myself, but for others as well.

That brings me to Transcendence Wellness Center. My hopes for TWC are to be a conduit for wellness, healing, peace, and balance to everyone who walks through TWC's doors. At TWC we have many different modalities that will help people recover from workouts or a day out playing their favorite sport. We have modalities that will help people with aches and pains from general aging or from more specific ailments such as Neuropathy or Varicose Veins. We have modalities to help people who are looking for a more holistic approach to wellness. We have classes and support groups that will help all who want wellness, healing, peace, and balance. We also will be offering a few different event packages for people who may want to have a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party, or any other event. At TWC we truly want to welcome in and be accessible to as many people as possible.
